I've gone to Concourse Auto for a few years now (based on a high recommendation from another car shop). At first things were ok, repairs were done well at a reasonable price, the guys at the front seemed genuine in talking about your repairs, and they even saved me thousands of dollars on a recommendation (which I appreciated a lot and is why I've been a return customer as long as I have). So, you're probably wondering why the 2-star rating? Well, my last 3-4 visits over the 1-2 years has been disappointing. Of these visits, I've left with some kind of new car problem I didn't have when I arrived. For instance, I got my tires rotated with an oil change. Not 5 minutes later my tire indicator came on and when I checked the tire pressure it was +15 pounds over the recommended amount on my door frame. Another time, I got my front brake pads replaced and noticed that my car would hop when stopping and wouldn't slow down/stop very well. When I addressed this with the shop later they just told me that either I deal with this hop (telling me it was fine) or pay for another repair. So, I left and got my new brakes replace somewhere else (and now my car stops fine). And finally (recently), I got a simple oil change (I felt like that shouldn't be too much of a problem). But after leaving I noticed my car sounded strangely louder than when I arrived. After checking around under the hood I discovered that they had checked my engine air filter and forgot to reinstall it back properly (it was unlatched and loose). I really tried to like this shop (like I said before, they were highly recommended to me and they seem like a decent establishment), but I've had too many problems with them to put my trust in them anymore.
