In Japan or America, I have never encountered such a honest & skilled mechanic, who takes full responsibility for their works. After oil change of my old Subaru, an oil leak was discovered and I thought it would be necessary to replace the oil pan, but the mechanics here insisted it wasn’t a pan issue and decided to take time (keeping the vehicle overnight) to check to see if it would be really necessary to replace the pan. In fact, what they said was correct and it wasn’t a pan issue, and a cheap & minor defective part was discovered and they replaced it promptly. What amazed me was that they did not even charge me for the man-hours for finding out the root cause.
